What size air conditioner does your home need?
Size matters more than most people expect. A unit that's too small runs constantly and never quite cools the house. One that's too big cools too fast without removing humidity, so rooms feel cold and clammy. We'll look at your house, condo, cottage or commercial space and design the right system for it.
The Okanagan is semi-arid, and summer heat spells make it hard to sleep or work in a home without cooling. A new system also adds to your home's resale value.
Central air, ductless or a heat pump?
- Central air is usually the best choice for cooling a whole home, and it uses ductwork.
- Ductless split systems suit cooling part of a home or a commercial space.
- Heat pumps cost more to install, but they heat as well as cool and work well in colder climates.
We install high-efficiency, Energy Star rated systems for new builds and renovations, including variable-speed and two-stage models with quiet operation, better humidity control and Wi-Fi thermostats. Like furnaces, the equipment comes at our cost: you see our supplier's bill.
